چکیده

We present the class of regular homogeneous T-models with vacuum dark fluid, associated with a variable cosmological term. The vacuum fluid is defined by the symmetry of its stressenergy tensor, i.e., its invariance under Lorentz boosts in a distinguished spatial direction (pj = −ρ), which makes this fluid essentially anisotropic and allows its density to evolve. Typical features of homogeneous regular T-models are: the existence of a Killing horizon; beginning of the cosmological evolution from a null bang at the horizon; the existence of a regular static pre-bang region visible to cosmological observers; creation of matter from anisotropic vacuum, accompanied by very rapid isotropization. We study in detail the spherically symmetric regular T-models on the basis of a general exact solution for a mixture of the vacuum fluid and dustlike matter and apply it to give numerical estimates for a particular model which illustrates the ability of cosmological T-models to satisfy the observational constraints.

Dark Energy and Spacetime Symmetry

The Petrov classification of stress-energy tensors provides a model-independent definition of a vacuum by the algebraic structure of its stress-energy tensor and implies the existence of vacua whose symmetry is reduced as compared with the maximally symmetric de Sitter vacuum associated with the Einstein cosmological term. This allows to describe a vacuum in general setting by dynamical vacuum ...

Capillary Effects on Surface Enhancement in a Non-Homogeneous Fibrous Porous Medium

The evaluation of a free fluid surface in a porous medium has several mathematical applications that are important in industries using molds, particularly in the fluid injection process. The vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM) process is a promising technology in the primary composite industry. An accurate computational simulation of the VARTM process would be a cost-effective tool i...

An Uneven Vacuum Energy Fluid as Λ, Dark Matter, MOND and Lens

Various TeVeS-inspired and f(R)-inspired theories of gravity have added an interesting twist to the search for dark matter and vacuum energy, modifying the landscape of astrophysics day by day. These theories can be together called a Non-uniform Dark Energy fluid (a Nu-Lambda fluid or a VΛ fluid); a common thread of these theories, according of an up-to-date summary by HZL 1, is a non-uniform v...

Supercritical Fluid Extraction of Carotenoid from Microalgae with Projected Thermodynamic Models (RESEARCH NOTE)

In this study, two thermodynamic models (regular solution theory and equation of state) were applied to obtain carotenoid solubility in the supercritical carbon dioxide solvent. Theoretical data obtained from the models were compared with the experimental data extracted from a published paper. The use of equation of state as an empirical correlation for collating and predicting liquidliquid and...

Strong cosmic censorship in vacuum space–times with compact, locally homogeneous Cauchy surfaces

We consider the question of strong cosmic censorship in spatially compact, spatially locally homogeneous vacuum models. We show in particular that strong cosmic censorship holds in Bianchi IX vacuum space–times with spherical spatial topology.
